I recently uploaded 2 audio files into my .story file. 1 works great, the other comes through as all static. It plays fine in Audacity where I edited the clip.
Any ideas? Both files are exactly the same. Wave Sound files. 475 KB and 438 KB.
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your audio files, can you confirm that you're working on them locally as described here and your .story file as well?
We'll likely need to take a look at the problematic audio file and try importing it into Storyline as well. Are you using SL1 or SL2? Are you on the most recent update for each (Update 8 and 3, respectively)? You can check by going to the Help tab and clicking on About Articulate Storyline.
Also, did you look at Leslie's recommendation in terms of converting your audio files to 16 bit 44 KHZ PCM WAV?

Have you tried exporting them in Audacity to mp3 format? If you haven't already, you need to download the lame.dll file to export to mp3.
