If user moves to another tab on his browser while the course is running the content will stop moving while the narrator will keep speaking which leads to difference between the displayed content and the narrator voice
I'd love to help but this sounds like our Support Engineers will be a better fit to tackle this!
It's helpful for them to take a look at the affected file and run tests that way. Would you mind sharing your file so we can get started troubleshooting? Please use this link to do so.
This hasn't been fixed. In a course with a video, video won't stop when swapping to other browser tabs, but the progress bar stays still. In an interactive course with text and images and audio, audio won't stop when swapping to other tabs, but the progress bar and on-screen text/images stop. When the learner returns to the course tab, the audio is done, but the progress bar and on-screen stuff just reactivate. So it's not synced.
Thanks for your post, and I'm glad you reached out to our Engineers! I see you're already working closely with Ronaziel to try to isolate the cause. You're in great company, and I'll follow the conversation as it progresses!
I'm having a similar issue where the timeline pauses when there is another browser window or application is covering the course but the audio continues which leads to the narration and visuals being off.
I use storyline 360, and it is fully updated. My publishing settings are: HTML5, Scorm 2004 4th edition.
Can you offer any guidance? It's acceptable if the course pauses, or keeps playing, but I can't release the training if having another window over the course pauses the timeline but not the audio.
We're happy to help! I'd like our Support Engineers to investigate this one with you. Would you mind sharing your file with our team? We'll take a look and continue troubleshooting in a support case. Here's a private upload link! We'll notify you when we receive your file.
Hi heroes, I encountered the same issue reported in the support case #02409311. I have the feeling the issue only occurs using a specific LMS (CrossKnowledge). I don't have the issue with local web export, Review, Scorm Cloud or the LMS Moodle.
If the issue is related to the LMS, does someone know what is causing the issue?
I see that you're replying to Lauren's reply to Megan. I was able to take a look and see that there was not a support case filed, so I do not have an update to provide on that specific issue. Philippe mentioned a similar issue, reached out to our team, and confirmed that the issue is specific to their LMS.
Can you share a bit more about what you are experiencing and if you are able to replicate in SCORM Cloud or is this only happening in your LMS?
If you can replicate it, we'd be happy to take a look. With your permission, I'd like you to share your project file with our support engineers to investigate what's happening. You can share it privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.

Hi Lauren,
why you don't share the solution here with everyone? I have the same problem.
