I am currently creating multiple courses which I need to copy some chapters from one course to another.
I am finding that on some occasions this all copys over fine, but on others it it is showing the audio has cioped over (it is showing Sound 1 on the timeline) but there is no actual audio carried over.
I am having to delete the blank audio line and re-insert, which is very unproductive and also very annoying.
Can anyone please help!

You probably used copy and paste to do it, and that process often does exactly what you describe. Sometimes it gets everything, sometimes it doesn't. I believe that it actually is a time thing. If you click COPY and then wait longer than you think you should have to wait, there is a better than average chance you will get everything. But that isn't the right way to do it anyway.
The correct way to transfer slides is to use the IMPORT feature.
