Audio Issues in Course in LMS

Our team is experiencing Audio issues across different browsers and operating systems. Here is a list of reports

  1. Windows 10 Pro 10.0 18363 Build 18363 Edge 83.0.478.45 Calendar List Acts like it's loading a video -- three animated dots over "darkened" content and nothing happens.
  2. Windows 10 Pro 10.0 18363 Build 18363 Edge 83.0.478.45 Any Reloading the page to try to get it to not-hang returns me to the beginning of the course and I can not skip to the page that hangs
  3. Windows 10 Pro 10.0 18363 Build 18363 Edge 83.0.478.45 TEALS Sign-in Acts like it's loading a video -- three animated dots over "darkened" content and nothing happens.
  4. Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19041 Edge 83.0.478.45 (Official build) (64-bit) TEALS Sign-in The video partially loads and then hangs. I tried it twice, the second time I used an InPrivate window.
  5. Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19041 Edge 83.0.478.45 (Official build) (64-bit) Calendar List The calendar list video does not load. This was in an InPrivate window. Update: Rewatching the video, from my memory the calendar video does load however the ability to go to the next screen is where it hangs
  6. macOS Catalina 10.15.5 Chrome 83.0.4103.106 (Official Build) (64-bit) TEALS Sign-in Acts like it's loading a video -- three animated dots over "darkened" content and nothing happens. Interestingly, it works fine in an incognito window in Chrome.
  7. Unknown - requested info Unknown - requested info Unknown - requested info Unknown - requested info Calendar List Gets "stuck" on the Calendar list page - cannot move past Step 1 video (I am investigating if this is an actual bug or if the user did not know how to navigate forward)

  11. Windows 10 Pro 18363.9 Chrome 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit) Calendar List Stuck on calendar list page. NOTE - this one DOES work in incognito mode. All others (see above) fail

Can anyone help us figure this out?

Thank you for reaching out! That is strange how the audio files are playing across different browsers and OS. 

A couple of questions for you about this: 

  • Are the audio issues only taking place in this course? 
  • Have you tried testing the course in a different LMS environment, like SCORM Cloud, to see if you can recreate the issue?
