Audio Not Playing On Slide After Layer Clicked on Previous Slide

I have a slide called, "Setting boundaries" (see attachment) with 5 buttons that each play audio when you click them (audio on separate layers).

If you click any of the buttons on the page, and then click "next" the audio on the base-layer of the next slide "Resilience" does not play (see screenshot of that slide). It will play if you don't click any of the buttons on the page and just click next to move to the next slide.

I can't figure out what is causing this, and it's driving me nuts. Please help!

Hi Candace!

I'm curious with the use of "Show Layer" if the buttons are supposed to play an audio.
I think it's easier if we'd use Play Media instead (similar to the one in the attachment).

Anyway you can strip down your presentation to just the 2 slides and post it?
