Audio Recording Not Capturing

I'm trying to record narration for a slide and using the "insert audio" feature.
I went to the support articles and followed the directions to use the "mic recording feature."

When I record the narration it doesn't seem to capture it, even though I've checked the audio settings under "options" to make sure my headset mic is the default.

I'm just starting to use Articulate so I'm still not familiar with all the functions.

Any ideas?
