Buzz recording audio separately, but not during screen capture

Hi,

I get a background buzzing sound when I record audio using my mic by going Sound> Record mic. When I use the same mic to record audio during a screen capture, 10 seconds later, I don't have the buzzing. If I go back to recording audio separately, it is there. Any idea what this would be from?

Hi Tracy,

Have you tried adjusting the Audio Quality settings when publishing to see if that improves it?

I did try that- I still get a completely different sound quality when recording audio during the screen capture vs. slide by slide.

Thanks, Tracy. Can you please submit a case, including your .story file, so we can take a closer look at this? And if you could also record a screencast replicating the issue during the submission, that would be even more helpful. Thanks!
