Audio Tools Problem - Slow, Shaky, Jumpy Audio

I have already opened a ticket with the support team; however, this post is intended to help others who may be experiencing the same issue.
When I record audio in Storyline 2 and attempt use the Preview or Audio Editor functions within the Audio Tools tab, the audio is presented as slow, shaky, and jumpy. However, if I Preview the entire slide or use the Play Button located beneath the timeline, I do not experience these issues.
I have included a test file, which contains a screencast, to document the problem.
Some notes:
- The file is saved locally (i.e., desktop) and not to a network directory or USB drive
- We have multiple licenses of Storyline 2, and this issue has been reproduced across multiple machines / program instances
- I am using the most current version of Storyline 2 (Update 4 - Build 1501.717)

Thanks for sharing Camron.
I will keep an eye on your support case as well for a resolution.
Thanks!
Update: Articulate technical support suggested that our issue stemmed from outdated drivers. My IT department updated my drivers, and I uninstalled / re-installed AS2. However, I continue to experience the audio issue.
Thank you for updating our support team (00484886) as well, they will continue to support you there :)
Frustrating. I hate to say it, but I downloaded and tried the test slide on my lenovo desktop and it played back normally using preview or opening in the audio editor.
My panacea is to update Flash Player.
Hi Will,
Thanks for the advice! Unfortunately, updating Flash Player did not help either
I'd love to chalk it up to simple user error or some idiosyncratic feature of my machine; however, (1) we have reproduced this issue across a number of different machines / licenses and (2) we never experienced this problem during our extensive use of Articulate Storyline 1 and Articulate Studio. There is likely a partial causal factor on our end, but I also suspect that changes made during the development of AS2 are at play as well.

Camron
You might want to consider using an external audio editor such as Audacity.
It is free and offers some great features/functionality.
I've been using it sine I read one of Tom's Blogs about it in 2008!
Record and edit the files here then import them as needed.

Thanks for the tip, Alan! I'll have to check Audacity out. We've been using Camtasia 8 during the interim, but that may be a better long term solution.
It's just frustrating because we never experienced these problems with AS1. As soon as we purchased our new licenses and upgraded to AS2, the audio issues appeared.
