I am having problems with certain slides in my published program where audio will not play. I have reloaded the audio, it works fine in preview but does not play when running the story. Unfortunately I had to save and work on the program from a usb drive at one point and am wondering if that may be the problem. I have since resaved it to my hard drive but no matter what I do the audio on certain slides will not play. Any suggestions?
OK. So i tried the published program in IE and it seems to work fine. Previously I had Firefox set as my default browser and it would not work there. I see Firefox updated yesterday to Firefox 42.0 and I wonder if there is a problem there. I should mention I have been working on this program for quite a while, a couple of months, and until yesterday had no problems with it playing in Firefox.
Working off a network or USB drive could have accounted for the odd behavior in your file as we generally advise working locally as described here. If a file does exhibit odd behavior you can always look at importing it into a new project following the steps here.
I haven't run into any issues with Firefox recently, but would be happy to take a look at your course to see how it behaves. You'll also want to look at ensuring you're testing in the intended environment as described here.
