I could use some advice. I have three slides in a large training module which I have added layers with navigation to each layer (and the base layer). I have set the Base Layer Slide to "automatically" advance and moved the timeline to accommodate for the additional time it would take to preview and listen to the narration on the layers, but it is not automatically advancing. Is there something that I am doing wrong or a better way to do this task?
I think a "better way" is to let the user advance to the next slide when they're ready.
Even if the base timeline is long enough to accommodate the time required to listen to audio on the layers, that doesn't mean the user is ready to move on. What if they get interrupted or distracted? It could be confusing to look away and then see a completely new slide when they return their attention to the course. And it'd be frustrating if they were planning to review some of the content, but the slide advanced without warning.
