Base layer image showing on layer, though it is hidden

Jun 21, 2017

Hello

I have searched through the help forum to see if I can find a solution to this issue to no avail. I am having an issue with an image from a base layer showing through on a layer even though I have hidden it individually on the timeline. The layer affected is "When".

I have tried:

  • Hiding the base layer image individually
  • Changing the layer settings to 'pause timeline on base layer'
  • Removed unnecessary state change triggers on the layer

Any help will be appreciated.

TIA

The problem is the trigger to change to visited which makes the object visible again.

Visited is an automatic state which does not need triggers. But by hiding and unhiding it on the timeline i don't think visited will work at all.  it may be better to rebuild this as an accordion type interaction to make better use of the space.

Great thank you. I thought I needed the 'visited' state change trigger so that the next button wouldn't show until the user had 'visited' all required elements. As this is built in state, does this mean that I don't need to add this trigger for each required element to enable this feature? I have found previously when setting up the rule for the next button to appear, it has a warning message telling me that the required state has not been set for the associated elements and it doesn't seem to work without it.

I have searched for information on how to set up an accordion type interaction, but didn't think this was possible and so set this up manually - can you point me in the right direction to more information about accordion style interactions? This would be really useful.

Many thanks
