Base layer keeps popping on top

Hi everyone,

My first forum participation, open the champagne...

I have a slide with a layer that is triggered from the base layer (through clicking on a text box), Lets call it layer 1. the layer should then stay on the screen and the learners have a few simple interactions on it. The problem is that after the layer 1 appears it disappears and the base layer come back on. I can't see why- there are no triggers to cause this.

Any thoughts?
