This morning when I started working on my course in Storyline 2, when I open an existing layer or create a new layer, the image of the base layer shifts down and to the right with some of it shifted right off the stage. I have opened a previous course and the same thing seems to happen.
It may be easier if we can take a look at the file. Please make sure you are working locally with your files as described here. And you could also try importing this into a new file and see if this helps.
