I am creating some technology courses that will include screen recordings. I am wondering which aspect ratio would perform better, 4:3 or 16:9. The course will be on an LMS and will be published for mobile use such as an iPad. Any suggestions on which ratio works best when viewing with an iPad. Does the Articulate Player App solve the aspect issue of black bars if the course is launched on an iPad?
Although older, for Storyline 1 you may want to review this KB article which links to a forum thread where a number of people discuss the same issues/questions.
Thank you Ashley! The article was very helpful! I think that based on the information I read and the fact that the course will most likely be viewed on an iPad when not through the LMS I will go with the 4:3 ratio.

Hi Heather,
Here is an article on choosing the optimal size for Mobile devices, and all the elements you'll want to consider.
