Bottom menu bar still thick when controls are turned off

Sep 08, 2014

I have a feeling I already know the answer to this - but just want to see if anyone has a workaround for it.

I have a course that has a full screen splash page for the first slide.

I have all the nav controls / tabs / etc turned off for this slide.

I view the slide in preview mode - its looks perfect - very thin border top and bottom.

However when I publish the course - that slide has a thick border at the bottom.

I assume this is b/c the rest of my slides have the nav buttons and the seekbar?

Anyway around this?

Hi Rob,

You won't be able to control the entire player on a slide by slide basis - the elements that you can choose to include on individual slides are detailed here:

By default, each slide will include the features that you selected for the player.  However, you can customize which player features appear on each slide by selecting “Custom for this slide” from the Player features drop-down list.

Then choose from the following features:

  • Menu
  • Resources
  • Glossary
  • Notes
  • Seekbar
