Branching Question in the End Assessment

I have a slide in my end assessment that is part of a branching question series. I have check marks showing (and that stay on the slide) on the floorplan after selecting the room, answering the question, returning to this floorplan and moving on to the next “room”. The setting for this slide is “Resume Saved State”.

The problem I’m facing is, if the participant fails the end assessment and retakes it, the check marks are still visible because they already answered these questions.

• Is it possible to have this slide reset so that if the participant retakes the end assessment, the check marks are NOT visible on the next attempts?
• I’ve tried setting this slide to ‘Automatically Decide” but then the check marks do not stay as the participant answers the questions on the first attempt.
• I’ve tried setting this slide to “Reset to initial state” but the same thing happens, the check marks do not stay visible on the first attempt of the assessment.
• Because this slide is part of the end assessment, is there a setting on the Results page I need to include?
