Breakdown of multiple choice question answers results screen.

Oct 19, 2012

Is it possible to produce a results screen with a breakdown of question answers a learner got correct and incorrect?

Hi, I am trying to create a results screen at the end of a quiz that will provide a list of question numbers and the learner selected answer with a correct or incorrect marker (tick or a cross / correct or incorrect).

for example:

Q1 - Answer selected (correct)

Q2 - Answer selected (incorrect)

Q3 - Answer selected (correct) ...

Would anyone be able to advise me on this?

Many thanks, Brian.

Welcome to Heroes, Brian!

In Storyline, result slides allow you to easily communicate to your users about how they performed on any combination of quiz questions you've included in your course. You can report on all questions or, if you prefer, just a subset of questions.

Storyline also allows you to use multiple result slides in the same course (although only one result slide can be tracked in Articulate Online or another LMS). You can even combine scores from multiple result slides to create a final result slide with a consolidated score.

Here's how to add result slides in Storyline.

Hi Peter,

Many thanks for the prompt replay. I am aware of what your answer is saying and I can add a results slide without a problem from single or multiple quizzes.

What I am looking to do is show the learner, in a results slide or any slide, a list of the answers they selected in previous questions and if they answered them correctly or not.

So after answering say 10 multiple choice questions with individual correct or incorrect feedback supporting screens they are then shown a list of the 10 answers they selected, by question number, on a single slide marked as correct or incorrect. Not just their percentage or score.

I know you can go through the review at the end of the quiz and view each question in turn however, I would like to show, on a single screen, a list of the learner selected answer marked as correct or incorrect. Can you advise on this please?

Many thanks, Brian.

Hi Brian,

Actually I didn't make the grids myself. It is already there. I include the PRINT button in the result slide.

Then, when the Acrobat Reader is "open"or set to a certain position/set , that is the result of the PRINT.

I hope someone in the forum can explain to you better since I simply came across an article on

"opening" the Acrobat Reader (or you can do it through the official website) and applied it.

However, I believe Articulate Online provides what you need.
