I want to bring back the precise image I had earlier in a slide timeline once the first appearance has disappeared. I'm having trouble just copying and pasting it elsewhere -- say, 10 sec. later -- and would rather not take the original image and alter it again in an attempt to get it to look exactly like the previous one. Can't I just get it to hide itself for 10 sec.?
Hi Eric, there may be multiple ways to do this but a simple copy/paste should work fine. I took your picture, put it on a slide, then copy/pasted. I can position 'picture 2' wherever it needs to go, and also drag it on the timeline below to appear and disappear as needed.
Alternatively, depending on your slide background, you could indeed just cover it up with a matching square that comes in and then fades out at the desired time. Your picture 1 would just remain there the whole time.
