I am encountering bugs after converting my PowerPoint to Storyline and wondering if anyone here has encountered similar issues and can offer solutions.
1) Text - the alignment on certain text has gone awry. In some cases, completely disappeared from the Storyline version altogether
2) The slides seem to move by themselves after I click on the move forward button. I'm wondering if the animation I have on some slides in the PowerPoint is causing that.
The standard slide sizes between PPT and Storyline are different so when you import your slides it is very common for the text formatting in particular to need a little work, although disappearing completely is something I've never seen, so maybe raise a case for that one, unless someone else has an idea.
In regard to the transitions, if your PPT is set move on automatically the trigger on the Storyline slides will be sent to work when timeline ends. Check this on your slides and adjust, You may also need to check slide properties (bottom right corner in Story View) and make sure the Advance is set to By User, and that you have a Next button of some sort to move on.

I suspect it may be the text box used in the PowerPoint. I cut and paste the text onto a new text box and they appeared in Preview this time round.
Many thanks.
Hi Sebastian,
It sounds like you've got it figured out - but you mentioned copying/pasting text - so I did want to point out this is how Storyline will handle copying/pasting text from other sources.
