Hi, I am trying to build a CC text link into the Topbar Right to behave like Resources where learners can click on the CC text link and it will drop down to a text area that contains the narration for the slide. I can find a lot of information on creating the name but not what actions to take to actually create the narration box. I would love some help with this. Thank you!
Hi Jeri, it sounds like you want Notes. If you press the pseudo tab down by the timeline and type in the notes space for that slide, and make sure to check "notes" in your player preference, it will have the equivalent of cc text.
Looks like Richard has popped in to assist you here and you can view our tutorial here. I second the idea of utilizing the built in Notes and by default it shows in the Sidebar with your menu if selected, but you can move this to topbar left or right like resources. Check out this tutorial.
Thank you for this great information, Richard and Leslie. Is there a way to rename Notes and call it Narration? I am afraid people won't click on the Notes section thinking it is something else if I don't rename it.
Articulate Storyline lets you customize the default text used in messages and controls on your course player. You can even switch to a completely different language. Here's how.
