bulk importing quiz questions

I'm doing a large conversion job, part of which includes importing tens of thousands of questions into storyline (not all one course). The only import format I see that's obviously applicable is the quizmaker format, but I don't have quizmaker. Does storyline have another import format I could use? If not, how hard would it be to get the questions into quizmaker format, or alternately, into quizmaker itself and then import that? I'll ask in the quizmaker format also.

We have the same issue, and as far as we have been able to determine we will need to purchase a copy of Quizmaker to do this.
I have about 2800 questions to do, 4 times a year. I can easily get them into Excel and I am hoping that Quizmaker can do the rest.
But I am not at that point yet, so I am hoping that future versions of Storyline will include that feature. I think that import feature was new in Quizmaker 2013, so there is hope that they will put it in a future version of Storyline.
Hi Jason and Marco,
The import feature was new for Quizmaker 13, and currently Storyline does not support importing from Quizmaker 13, although that will be included in the next version. If you'd like to see the ability to import questions from excel into Storyline it's also worth sending that in as a feature request.
Hello, is it possible to bulk import questions into Quizmaker using Articulate Studio?
Thanks!
Hi Erin!
I'm not sure what you mean by using Studio, but Articulate Quizmaker '13 supports importing questions from other quizzes, quiz templates, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and text files. Here's how.
@Leslie McKerchie, is there an excel template for importing quiz questions directly into Storyline?
Hi Sally
here is a link to KB article that has an excel download template
Is there a way to have responses worth different point values on the MC questions when you do the Excel upload for Storyline? example Answer A = 1 pt, B = 2 pts etc.
Hey there, Kelly. Great question!
Multiple-choice questions are currently scored as either entirely correct or incorrect, but we are tracking customer demand for partial scoring. I'll share your voice in our report and if we add this feature in a future update, we'll share the news right here!
In the meantime, here's a neat partial scoring community example. Check it out, and let us know what you think!
Thanks, Katie!
