I have buttons to display multiple layers and a button to return to the main slide by hiding all the layers. Since the main slide displays at the beginning I want that button to start in the visited state. However, if I change the initial state to visited the button stops working.
Can you share the file (or the slide that's not working)? I tested it and it worked for me, but without seeing your slide it's hard to know what's going on.
From a production purpose, the visited state has some built in functionality to indicate it's been clicked. Starting with a button in visited state when it hasn't been clicked seems a bit odd. I'd create a custom state that looks like the visited state and start from there and then when it's clicked, it would be a visited state.
