Buttons not working as desired.

Oct 19, 2014

Hi all,

I am facing a very typical problem. my requirement is to add 3 different multiple choice questions to one slide so I have to build my own functionality as quiz template can't be added to any Layers.

I have added buttons to the quiz, then I select a option that option is disabled (state) and rest other are sent to normal state. The problem is the last selected option doesn't show the rollover state for the first time rollover after changing state to normal, when I rollout and rollover again the buttons functions normally.

The problem occurs only on the first rollover of the button after the button is sent to the normal state. On the second time rollover of the button, the button works fine.

Can anybody suggest what could be the remedy?

Thanks in advance

Hi Ajay

You said: The problem is the last selected option doesn't show the rollover state for the first time rollover after changing state to normal, when I rollout and rollover again the buttons functions normally.

I'm not having that problem.  When I rollover any of the four options, the hover state is displayed.  If I select one of the options, I can still rollover the other options and the hover state displays.

What is the logic you are after?  and how should the counter be counter working.

Hi Wendy

when I select the any of the options, other options are showing the hover state. but when I select another option, the first selected option is showing the normal state again from disabled. when I hover over the option I selected for the first time, it doesn't show me the hover state for the first time hover after I select the second option. but when I rollout and hover again it is showing me the hover state.

I hope I made it clear if not.

select the option A

now select the option C

now rollover option A again, it will not show you the hover state when you hover for the first time after selecting option C, rollout and hover again and it will show you the hover state.
