Callout shapes move when I resize Browser

Jan 23, 2024

We use the Classic Player, and we "Scale Player to Fill Browser Window."

When we resize the browser window, the items in the published lesson scale as expected EXCEPT for the callout shapes. Callout shapes appear to "travel" relative to the other objects on the slide. One of the attached image pairs shows example where text is part of the callout, and the other image pair shows an example where the text is a separate object on top of the callout.

Is there any way to fix this?

Hello Debbie!

In Storyline 360 (Build 3.85.31840.0), we fixed a bug that many of you were running into:

  • Fixed: Callout shapes didn't scale properly after resizing the browser window.

From here, all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!

Hi Debbie,

Sorry to hear that you ran into this snag, and good call to open a support case.

I can see that my colleague Philam was able to help confirm that what you're experiencing is a bug. We've added this ELH post to the bug report so we can notify you here and through the support case once a fix is released. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
