I have numerous slides, each containing a .SWF with a play/pause bar added. The slides are set up to jump to the next slide when the time line ends.
The problem I have is when a user pauses the video, it doesn't pause the timeline. To the user, the slide appears to 'skip' to the next slide even though they paused. In reality, the time continues to the end of the video at which point it jumps to the next slide as it's been set up to do.
Can I change this? Can I create a custom button to pause the timeline, and by pausing the timeline would this pause the video on the slide too? (sorry, I don't have Storyline with me at the moment other wise I would have an experiment!)

Hi Daniel,
SWF files will operate independent of the timeline, so there won't be a way to pause them both. You can find more information here about how SWF files will interact with Storyline's timeline.
