Can I replay an interaction on one slide
Oct 28, 2015
G'day
Sorry if this appears to be a dumb question. I have set up a branching like choices and consequences interaction in Storyline 2 on one slide. e.g. learners have three choices and see feedback on each choice. I have disabled the next button until all are visited. I have also done the same for the previous button.
So after the last choice both buttons become active. I want the previous button to take the learner back to the start of the interaction aka the three choices panel to have another go if they want to see them again.
Even if I take them back to the slide before the choices interaction they don't appear to be able to retry the choices interaction.
Is there a way to do this please? All I can think of is a duplication of the interaction they can try again.
Will appreciate any help
Regards
Allan

Hi Allan
have you set the slide properties to 'Reset to Initial State' when revisiting?
Hi Wendy
Duh! Thanks so much. I had a feeling it was simple. Something about failing to see the original vision of clearing the swamp when you are up to your tail in aligators. I was too close to it. That seems to have fixed it and I appreciate your help

No problem Allan, it usually the simplest things that trip us all. Good luck with your project.
