I need to republish a Storyline course but there is both SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 available from a previous version. I am unsure which version is in use in our LMS as there is no longer a Manifest file once it is imported. Is there another way I can check? TIA
Depending on the LMS, you may be able to glean that information from the course properties page. Some will display the information in an easy-to-find location, others will make you dig for it.

I'm happy to help! You'll want to look into the published output folder and find the imsmanifest.xml file.
In this file, the first few lines will include SCORM 1.2 or 2004. Here's an example.
