Our company recently acquired a company that has a bunch of modules that were created in Storyline. These files are out of date and need some work but we don't have the original .story file that they were created with. All I have is the zip package that is created and uploaded into the LMS. Is there any way to salvage this?

Unfortunately, no. Once that cake is baked, you can't go back and change the ingredients.
