Your team helped to solve this problem a few months ago, but we came across a glitch during technical testing with our LMS. Hoping you might be able to shed some light on how to fix this, if indeed, it can be fixed.
We have a final assessment that the learner will only be able to take once. If they fail, they cannot retake it. The solution was to set the 'always resume' option in the publish settings, which will bring the learner back to the failed or passed screen, which works perfectly if the learner exits the course via the exit button and relaunches the course in our LMS.
But, one learner was able to retake the assessment by having multiple sessions open.
I don't think the LMS should be allowing multiple sessions to be open simultaneously by the same user. Is that what is happening? What LMS are you using?

Can you check the course settings in the LMS to see if something is enabled that is allowing the user to open multiple sessions at once?
