I'm having an issue with a button I've created and decided to attach the storyfile to see if someone realizes what's wrong, cause I can't seem to figure it out.
There Previous button has 2 states: hover and selected. When the selected state is activated, a strange shadow on the edge of the arrow is displayed...can you also see it? Why is that?
Hi there, Pamela! I had a look at your file, and the custom shapes that you've built for Preview and Next seem a little different from each other.
How did you build these shapes? What I was originally investigating was if I could delete the faulty arrow button (pointing left) and just copy and rotate the original arrow button (pointing right), but I noticed in doing so that even the Selected state of the "right" arrow button had a different setup.
My recommendation would be to format one of the arrow buttons the way you need, including each state, and then copy it to create the second button. You'll have to rotate those elements when formatting the copy's states, but at least then, your shapes will be consistent.
