I've been trying to change the font color of the notes text in the Storyline player to white so it will show up on a black background and having no luck. Even tried the advanced color editor> list item >> normal text, and it doesn't seem to change. The slide titles are white, but can't get the text under notes to change. Screen capture is attached.
In addition to what Wendy shared, Notes formatting in Storyline 2 is a bit different.
You can format notes just like slide text in Storyline. Just open the Notes panel, select the text you want to format, then use the font and paragraph options on the ribbon.
You can change the font face, size, and color. You can add bold, italic, and underline formatting. You can even change the alignment, or add bullets and numbered lists.
Thanks again, I was able to get the text to appear white against the black player template by selecting all of the text and changing the color to white. Problem is that it makes it hard to edit within the white background of the authoring window – you have to change it back to black to edit and then back to white to publish. Might be an opportunity for an enhancement in the next version – the ability to change notes text color within the Player Properties tab.
Again, I appreciate your quick response to the issue.
I'm glad you were able to get this updated and working as needed - and yes, that idea is something we've shared with our team as well, so you're welcome to also chime in and share your thoughts here.

Hi Guy
see if this helps - Notes colour is defined in the Notes tab in the UI
