Hello! I'm new to Storyline 360 and I'm currently evaluating the possibility of switching from our current authoring tool, Captivate. During testing, I discovered that every time I copy a hotspot object with an outside click trigger, the trigger gets lost. Is there any way to prevent this?
We require thousands of click fields with both 'on click' and 'outside click' triggers for our software simulations. It would be a significant inconvenience if we had to redefine these triggers every time or copy them separately.
The reason why 'When the user clicks outside...' triggers aren't carried over is because these triggers are slide specific. They only work when the triggers recognize the area of the slide outside the object which isn't the same for every slide.
There isn't a way to change this behavior right now, but you're very welcome to raise this as a feature request here.
