Could you please help me with this weird issue - I can't find a story file after I published it. I honestly don't even know what happened and why? The published zip file is in the folder but what happened to the story file?! Tried the recycling bin, tried opening recent files, tried using the search field... Nothing...
The .story file is not included in the published zipped output. That being said, once you publish, unfortunately, you will not be able to revert back to a .story file from this.
Renz is right - you won't find the .story file in the published output and it's not saved automatically upon publishing either. Did you look to see if the .story file was saved by you anywhere on the computer? I'd suggest doing a search of your computer files and folders for anything with the .story extension.
Thanks for your responses. I did look for the .story file on my machine and on the backup drive with no luck. I had to find a temp file with the most recent date and then save that file as .story.
What I did notice is that my other module was saved under the name of the module I've lost, if that makes sense? So somehow it was re-written? I don't know how that happened but I'll start working with copies so I don't lose my files again.

As for the file naming/saving - could you be starting from one template .story file? If you're doing a "Save as" to get started with a file, I'd make sure that you're saving/editing both locally and after you do the Save as, I'd look at closing the file and reopening it to make sure you've got the latest version of your file.
