Although I didn't uprade the project text using the new feature, I still get the error message (see attachment) and the previously in 360 saved file won't open in Storyline 3 anymore.
How can I solve the issue so that I will be able to open the file with both versions of Storyline?

Are you able to share a copy of your file with us? If so, you can upload at this link using the Add Attachment button or you always have an option to share privately with our Support Engineers. Either way, we'll delete it when done testing.
I have great news to share! We no longer see this bug where a Storyline 360 file cannot be opened in Storyline 3 because of Text Autofit Improvements. This is when using our latest version of Storyline 360 (Build 3.72.29699.0) and Storyline 3 (Build 3.19.29010.0).
Please let us know if you're still noticing the issue, and we'll be happy to continue troubleshooting with you in a support case.
