Can we publish Story View of a project flow?

Aug 20, 2020

I am working on a project where they would like an output of the proposed project flowchart prior to beginning storyboard development. Is there an easy way to print the story view screen that would show the thumbnail of each slide in each scene? This would be a great timesaver rather than creating this in a different tool like excel or word tables.

Here is an example of what I would like to export from Storyline if possible. Only a little more professional looking. :)

Hi Steve,

Great question - the Story view in Storyline is designed to provide an overview look at where all your slides are and isn't included as a publishing option to create a storyboard of sorts. You could look at taking a screenshot of that view to share with your stakeholders (Snagit and CloudApp are two screenshot tools that produce pretty high resolution images) or look at using Storyline's Publish to Word option. That'll showcase the slides in order with a bit more ability to actually see what's on the slide.

This tutorial here should walk you through all the publish to Word options.
