I was wondering if there was a way to add markers into the audio file so it would be easier to set up the timing of items on the timeline. When I play the slide in the editing view the timing on the audio isn't always precise.
Hi Debbie! I'm thinking that adding cue points may help you accomplish your task. Check out this blog post.
This statement is what made me think of you when I read your question:
If you’re working on a slide where you need to sync multiple objects and animations, you can quickly set multiple cue points while you listen to your slide’s audio. Simply click the Play button in the lower left corner of your timeline and press your C key each time you want to insert a cue point.
Wonderful - exactly what I was looking for. Now if I can get Storyline to stop giving me error messages & locking up when I'm playing an audio clip in the timeline editor I'd be golden!
Well, one request down. I see where you filed another thread on the other issue you mentioned. We'll try to get you back to golden soon Debbie! Hope you have a great day
