Can you clear the visible wrong answer on question. WHen the user returns for the retry, of that question. Before moving on.
Example, user get a question wrong, they hit retry and the wrong answer is still selected. Client wants nothing to be selected when the user returns for retry.
Maybe try changing the slide properties to Reset to Initial State when revisiting (or automatically decide might work too). That should clear it out.
If your retry button is built into each question instead of a results slide, you can set up a Jump To trigger and set it to that slide (so it's jumping to itself) and it will reload to the initial state.
thanks, I tried the initial state options. It didn’t work.
I attempted the jump to the question and the slide number is not an option in the list when I am on the slide to set it up.
Thanks for responding.
I just informed the client it is a software limitation.

Another method I have used when using Storyline's Try Again button is to use triggers on the Try Again layer to return the Radio Button, Check Box, etc to Normal when User clicks Try Again. This only takes a moment to create one trigger and then I copy/paste the others that I will need and quickly edit them with the drop down menus. I have found this to be the most reliable method to reset a single questions properties without worrying about changing the Base Layer state.

Hi Myka,
Check out this older thread for tips on how to reset quiz slides when the learner retries a quiz. I hope this helps!
