I have a Storyline 360 project, where the first time the user goes through the course, I do not want them to be able to jump ahead or skip a slide so I restricted the menu navigation in the player.
However, I am giving them the option to review the course if they didn't pass the quiz at the end. I would like them to be able to jump to the section that they want to review & not have to take the whole course again.

if the menu is set to 'restricted' the user can't jump ahead to slides but can go back to a previously visited slide.
If they are reviewing the course in the same session all menu items should be available to them once they have visited them the first time.
So, can they navigate freely using the menu to any slide? Can they jump ahead using the menu?
