Can You Spot the Arctic Animals?

Taking inspiration from Paul Alders‘s innovative e-learning interaction, I created a binocular activity to explore Arctic animals. ❄

My first challenge was experimenting with the drag-and-drop interaction to allow users to click the binocular to discover which animal they’re spotting. Then, I used Zoom regions to heighten the experience, making it feel like they’re truly using binoculars.

Finding pictures of Arctic animals online was tricky, so I decided to use AI for assistance. I used my cover picture as a background reference and used Freepic generative AI to create the animal pictures. Later, I manipulated some of the animals with Photoshop and Adobe Firefly generative AI to make them look more real and fit together.

Lastly, I discovered an Articulate challenge for background sounds this week, so I added Arctic background noise to make the project even livelier.
