cannot control quiz review: prev next button and numeric question

Hi there,

I'm working on a quiz in storyline. When you review the quiz as a user, the buttons in the player of storyine appear, while I disselected them. Is there a way you can make them dissapear?

Another question is about the numeric question. When reviewing the quiz as a user, storyline shows the right answer but I cannot control the position on the screen or what is says. I don't want the 'equal to 6' but that text in dutch.

I included a screenshot of my 2 issues.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Annemieke,

Well, I can provide half an answer. Hopefully someone can jump in with the other half.

To remove default info that appears on the slide during review

  1. Go to the base layer of the Results Slide
  2. Double click the Edit Results Slide button near the top of the right pane
  3. Click Options in the left side of the properties window
  4. Uncheck the box that says, "show correct/incorrect responses when reviewing

Hi Rebecca,

Thank you for your quick reply. I didn't notice the option yet, so thank you that. It isn't a solution for me, because now the user cannot see the right answers anymore.

Is there an other way to control the answer of the numeric question?

And how to disable the automatically generated buttons of storyline when reviewing the quiz?

Hope somebody knows the answer!

Hi Helene,

Is your only question how to customize the review layer for the numeric question? If so, I can answer that. This is the same way you would customize the review for any quiz.

There are two quizzes in the attached file. The first is a numeric quiz; the second is a T/F quiz.

If you're numeric quiz is already created, you can access the post quiz review:

  1. Click the Edit Numeric button in the panel on the right
  2. Click in the Post-Quiz Review area at the bottom of the window and type in your desired text.
