I have been able to import PowerPoint presentations with narrations into Storyline and then publish without a problem. But when a colleague of mine sent me a PowerPoint presentation that she created on PPT for Mac, 2011, and I imported the presentation into Storyline, I could see the "megaphone" icons on the presentation, but the narrations cannot be heard in Preview or after publishing. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to save the narrations in PPT for Mac 2011 in such a way that they do import properly into Storyline?
Do you know how the narrations were added to PowerPoint? Via recording slide show or inserting media in PowerPoint?
One trick in older versions of PowerPoint (not sure about newer ones) was to publish the presentation in PowerPoint to the web and the individual sound files would get exported as separate WAVs. Then you could import these into Articulate.

She used recording slide show, not inserting media in PowerPoint. What commands are used in the older PPT to publish to the web? Thanks.
Well, here's how to do it with PowerPoint 2010: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/officeappcompat/thread/89d70894-b455-4d3e-a801-f2574c3a0f5a
After doing this, look for a folder the same name as your filename--inside that folder will be your WAV files, named like sound001.wav.
And I think this is how you used to be to do it prior to PowerPoint 2007: http://www.ehow.com/how_5941079_convert-powerpoint-html.html
