is there a way to add captions in the video mode of my screen recording? or make the view mode a single video? I need to enable the learner to be able to play and pause the view mode of the simulation as they please. I do not want to use the seek bar of the player template

Have you considered using embedded videos from services like Vimeo or Wistia? We use Wistia, which allows us to upload .srt files for closed captioning. I believe they have a 3-day trial. http://wistia.com/
