I am building my first storyline project and I'm already having problems with the captions moving out of place when the project is saved and re-opened. I move them all back where I want them, save it and it moves them into different positions every time. Anybody know what I might be doing wrong?
I've never seen that problem before. Would you mind submitting a support case to us? During the submission process, you'll have an opportunity to record a screencast of the issue. Be sure to include that and your .story file:
This happened to me as well! When I opened my course on different computers from an external hard drive it changed most of my font size and text box size and it took ages to fix! Another big problem I have is that all my buttons and quizzes have changed the text position of the states in normal, visited, hovered, selected etc, so when the user interacts with the text it flicker or jumps around (depending on what they are doing - clicking, hovering etc). I don't know why but I had to manually go through the whole course - it's fixed mostly but still not perfect.
You mentioned working from an external hard drive, which is most likely the culprit for the erratic behavior you're experiencing. We recommend working from your local drive to avoid unexpected behavior.
