Capturing a drop-down list when recording a website screen

I'm building a demo of a website our employees use. I'm using the record screen function. Part of the demo is showing them they need to mouse over a menu on the website to reveal the drop-down list. When I try to capture this in Storyline the drop-down is already exposed (see below).
Is there a setting I need to adjust...or a work around? THANKS!

Hi Denton and welcome to Heroes!
That screen looks like part of a step by step mode - and the drop down would be exposed on a slide to show the users what to click on within there. It's also worth noting that click and drag actions are not supported within the step by step screen recording.
