I want the state of an object to change when the timeline reaches a certain point. I set up a slide trigger that specifies the object and point in time, but nothing happens. I've also tried using a cue point instead a point in time. I've tried using both built-in states and new ones I create, but I'm baffled. My goal is to have the pictures glow at a certain point in time.
Hi Amanda, thanks for including your file! I tested it with Storyline 360, and the Glow state did appear when the timeline reached cue point #1. Here's a quick recording of my testing.
Are you also using Storyline 360? If so, are you on the latest update? To check, click the Help tab, then click About Storyline. You should see 3.9.13567.0 in the bottom-right corner.
Thank you very much Alyssa. I'm glad it worked for you! I just checked and I do not have the most updated version. Once I get back to the office on Monday, I'll have to request our IT department to update it. Hopefully, that will do the trick. Thanks again!

Sounds great, Amanda. I've got my fingers crossed for you!
I have found that captions (bubbles w/ words) do not work w/ states. I needed to add text boxes to the states to have them change.
Hi Vicki! Just stopping by to let you know I responded to you over here. Let's continue working together in that thread!
