Hi, I have a slide where the learner clicks 5 little houses. Each time one is clicked a caption shows. I want to either change the color of each house or dim it when it is clicked. Any ideas on what I should do?
One word "States" located beside teh Timeline tab. Create a Selected state for each house.
As well, if you want teh other houses to show as normal when one house is selected, create a button set of all teh houses and they will automatically have Selected states created for them and they will automatically change from selected to normal as you click one or the other.
Haha! I guess I failed to read sarcasm above? If it's something that would benefit the community or anyone that runs across this thread in the future, I encourage you to share.
Click the object you would like to edit the state on, select the States tab > Edit States > Choose Selected State > Format and change the color > then click Done Editing States

Hi Ryan!
This thread is a bit dated. Was Dennis' solution able to assist you as well?
Hi Leslie, it did not, however, we did figure it out! :)

can you point me to a walkthrough I can watch on making buttons change states after clicking?
Maybe this tutorial here helps.
Thanks. That helps.
Any chance we can change the color of the "Selected" effect? From blue to maybe orange?
Absolutely Phuong :)

This was super helpful! Thank you Leslie!
What if when you click the shape, it doesn't provide all the options you show. Mine only shows NORMAL as a state.
Hi Christina,
You can add states if needed.
