I'm working on a software simulation that has a border that moves from field to field. One of the fields isn't the same size as the others so I would like to be able to gradually re-size the border during the motion path to the field.
The attached is a sample of what I'm attempting to do. I've tried State changes but I can't get it to gradually resize and I gave up on layers as I couldn't get it to work well there either. Am I overlooking another way to do this?

Hey Sharon. Only way I can think of at the moment is using PPT's morph transition and exporting the presentation as a video that you can then manipulate in SL.
Daniel offered you a great suggestion, but I wanted to share another option that can be done in Storyline. If you adjust the timings for entry and exit animations, you might be able to create the illusion of the shape resizing with states:
