Hi there Paul,

Thanks for posting your question here in the community!

No, you cannot change the size of the markers in Storyline. That would be a great feature request that you can submit here. In the meantime, you'll have to work with the markers at their existing size or create your own custom markers and pop-up layers. Hope this answers your question!

Hi, Jenn.

Thank you for reaching out!

We have a feature request logged and connected to this discussion, so we'll be sure to notify you when we have news to share.

I also want to share two resources with workarounds:

Our team is trying to establish default slide sides for all of our projects. 1920 x 1080 is in line with modern standards (kind of) but we can't agree on setting all of our projects to this larger size just because the marker sizes can't be adjusted. This will cause more work for us when we inevitably convert existing projects to a smaller or larger slide size -- depending on what we choose. When will this feature be released?

Hi Alex,

Thanks for checking in on this! I understand you are looking for an update on the ability to resize markers. There currently hasn't been any movement on this as we prioritize other features. There has been a feature request submitted for this and I'm going to include your voice in the request. We’ll update this discussion when there is any news to share about this.

I have a trick to make any icon "flash" but I would love to lay my own icon on top of the pre-programmed marker and have access to the marker's triggers so I can do "when user clicks" "custom icon" trigger (all marker callout functionality on hover and click.)

The lack of transparency on the marker triggers is a shame.
