Change State of Next Button Not Working Mac Chrome (Ok in Safari)

Hello,

Any one else experience a Change State of player button not working Mac using Chrome

Search didn't quite yield an answer. 

Course using the following setup:

Slide loads next btn state is disabled

Document Button is clicked and kicks off following triggers

1. Adjust btnclkd variable to true
2. Submit course results
3. Change state of next button to normal 
   1. if adjusted variable btnclkd is true
4. Open document

 

Result on Windows - Regardless of browser next button is set to normal and clickable

Result on Mac - with Safari next button is set to normal and clickable

Result on Mac - with Chrome next button is still disabled

 

LMS is SumTotal
