Changing font

Hello all, I have a situation where I have multiple layers. I copied text using Arial as my font, from the base layer and when I pasted the text into another layer the font changed to Open Sans. I have Arial set as my default font on the Design tab under fonts. Do new layers not retain the defaults of the base layers? Thank you all.

Hi Jesse- The discussion in this thread may give you the answer to your question and a solution as well, particularly David's comment. Slide layers are controlled by the Slide Master, so following his suggestion should work for you. Hope that's helpful! :)
If you want a fast way to change the fonts, use the File >Translation >Export option to export your text to a Word Doc. In the Word doc do a select all and change the font to Arial then save.
Then import the document back into Storyline. This will change all your text to Arial.
Thanks for sharing, Nancy! I never would have thought of that workaround-- I learn something new everyday. As a result, I also found this article that we published with some instructions on how to do just what you recommended (Storyline is covered in the second half)!
Keep the ideas flowing!
Thank you all for the help. I changed the default font on the blank feedback master and that did the trick. If I ever need to change fonts after a fair amount of progress is made I'll definitely use Nancy's suggestion. That's what I love about these forums. These forums are truly one of Articulates competitive advantages.
